The Aneugene Health Centre specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr Weidong Zhang offers treaments for pain relief at the Aneugene Health Centre. The health centre uses herbal medicine, acupuncture and reflexology. Other traditional chinese remedies available are cupping and massage. Acupuncture is the use of needles which are inserted into certain points on the body. Reflexology is massage of hands, feet or ears focusing on specific pressure points. Cupping is a type of massage using glass cups full of heated air which are placed on the body. The heated air contracts and creates suction on the skin. There are two massages available, Deep Tissue or Relaxing. Both of these can be booked for 30 or 60 minute sessions. The health centre also offers ear candling and acupressure. Dr Zhang specialises in treating pain using Traditional Chinese Medicine. Any type of pain can be relieved but neck, back and shoulder pain, arthritis, sciatica or migraine are most commonly treated. Dr Weidong Zhang studied medicine for 6 years and has treated patients for 20 years. He owned his own practice in China before relocating to the UK and practising for the last 10 years. The health centre is located in Battersea, London on a busy shopping street. On street parking is not permitted in front of the Health Centre but there is pay parking available in Spencer Road. It is also on a busy bus route which a stop in front of the centre.
