From Our Editors

Koshari Street puts an emphasis on well-sourced, healthy ingredients, boasting visits from both Time Out and The Guardian under their belts. They are transparent about the artisanal merchants from which they source their produce, including a Sicilian olive oil farm for rices and pulses, Tony Booth for vegetables and Neal’s Yard Dairy for their milk produce. Their central London shop is open Monday to Saturday 11am to 11pm.

It's a very small café, with only ten or so chairs and luckily it was quiet when we arrived at 5pm on a Saturday. The guys were very good at explaining the food, as it was our first time, and not fazed by us being vegan. The food came served in a paper 'boat' and was really filling and flavourful.

Great veggie meals, centrally located near some of the most popular shows in theatreland, and a hop-skip-jump from The National gallery opposite Trafalgar Square. Capable staff, but a bit tight for space with drop-in customers vying for access with those sitting down.

Situated right at Covent Garden this little healthy gem is a great alternative to all the Burger and Pizza places around the area. The menu is simple but tasty.Vegetarian and meat Option are available. The downfall of the place is the lack of space to sit down. When we were there we have to stand up several times as customer could not squeeze past us. The staff were nice and friendly. Good value for money, but do not expect Gourmet food

Egyptian Street Food to eat-in or takeaway served by friendly, helpful staff - what's not to like? All you have to do is simply enjoy - and I think that there is a pretty good chance that you will!

Regardless of whether groupon has an offer I will definitely go back. The food is fresh, tasty and healthy. When I'm in the area my boyfriend and I will be going back; the staff are lovely too. The only drawback is its a small restaurant with very little seating.

Wasn't particularly great, slightly lack lustre if I'll be honest. And considering it's just grains and a sauce it's quite expensive at its retail price
