Ora Restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine in the heart of London's trendy and upmarket Fitzrovia. Located on a quiet street just behind Regent street, Ora is in good company, surrounded by the ultra fashionable boutiques and exclusive clubs frequented by upper class elite. Ora is surprisingly affordable though, and just a stone's throw from the busy shops of Oxford Street and the West End's wonderful theatres and pubs, making it the perfect destination for a quick post shopping lunch time refuel or for a pre theatre meal. The menu is filled with Thai favourites, including curries as well as rice and noodle dishes. For a lighter bite, there is an extensive selection of starters that also work well as homemade Thai tapas, ideal for sharing with friends. In keeping with the fashion houses just down the road, Ora boasts a sleek modern design and eye catching contemporary décor. Diners have the choice of individual tables or long, banquet style rows of seating with low lighting and cool purple walls. As well as food coming in good sized portions, there are plenty of options available and the friendly staff are very accommodating of special dietary requests. Charming and atmospheric, Ora is noted for its ambiance, and the absence of the thumping music common to so many contemporary restaurants makes it an ideal venue for business lunches or dinners, as well as more relaxed affairs. The wine list is extensive and the staff tending the fully stocked bar do a mean line in cocktails to tend to the post theatre crowd.
