Service could be better. Once served we only saw staff when we asked someone for drinks etc. No-one checked that we eere ok. Tea selection not brill. Tea cups looked dirty ..were stained mainly but some rubbed off with serviette. Made uo feel that discretionary service charge was compulsary and it was high. We left nothing as we felt that it wasn't earnt plus we don't get service payments with our jobs so don't agree paying it to others. Food was very good.

We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. Lovely different breads with tasty fillings. The scones were warm and very fresh, only complaint was that the jam was too runny! The cakes were really good and the lemon posset was delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere good. A very pleasant experience.

Very poor quality of food & almost flat Prosecco - only the scones were fine but cream truly nasty & jam runny & cheap. Fruit tart passable but brownie barely baked mush! .Had I not paid in advance I would have turned away the tired bagel & dry sandwiches and walked out. Sorry to say but this was awful and embarrassing bringing a friend here from out of town. Lovely attentive staff but food dreadful, waste of money. Shame on a Palms Brasserie

It was quiet dark in there,we were sat in the corner by the wall. There was not enough staff and restaurant got quite busy. You could see they were struggeling. Food wasn't too bad,but wouldn't recommend for afternoon tea.

I bought it as gift for my friend. We had lovely day. The staff were very friendly and we're very accommodating to two mums with big pushchairs. The restaurant was lovely and the food was really good. The portions could have been bigger.

Service was great but food was disappointing. All nibbles (apart from scones) seemed to be a bit off.. stale bread, crunchy mini bagel, overpowering flavours for one of the desserts, mini tarts were runny. Just not very nice.
