Bread on sandwiches was stale. And instead of changing them. The waitress argued with me. And then the manager came over and disagreed with me. Saying he had seen sandwiches being made. Well if you make sandwiches with stale bread. Doesn’t matter if they were only made ten mins ago they will still be stale.

Brought the voucher on Groupon for three courses and a glass of prosecco and have to say it was amazing. The restaurant is on Picadiily and had a really good atmosphere. We were seated very quickly and the tables are set out in little recesses so very private. We told the waiter about our voucher and asked what the restrictions were, he said none. So we could order anything and there is a great choice from fish, meat, pasta or salads. The food was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended a visit and we will definitely be going back.

We went to the Piccadilly branch and we were so disappointed because they didn’t have what we wanted for starter and main. We ended up choosing something different and didn’t reallt enjoy it. The prawn and avocado cocktail was swimming with dressing. The rice on the teriyaki salmon and the beef stroganoff was dry and barely hot. The salmon was overcooked and swimming with teriyaki sauce. The one thing we both enjoyed was the red velvet cake but even that wasn’t perfect because it was a bit too sweet. The manager at the time wasn’t attentive even though the place wasn’t busy. My partner called her attention to ask something but since she was holding a rubbish bag, she just looked at him and continued to walk. That’s ok because she’s in the middle of something but she didn’t come back to us after! We were also sitting there for a long time after dessert and no one came to ask us if we wanted coffee or tea or if everything was ok. The only reason we left a tip is because the woman who served us was pregnant and she was nice enough. The restaurant itself needs refurbishment. A lot of the floor tiles were missing, you can actually trip over. The ladies room was one of the worst I’ve been to. There were signs stuck on the mirror saying “marble wet”. It was soaking in water so there’s nowhere to put your bag or anything. If you buy this voucher, consider going to the Knightbridge or other branch which i bet would not be as bad as the Piccadilly one.
