Nice concept but believed I’d booked the real mad hatters tea party, not this. Waitresses super slow and stingy on top ups, we only had 3 glasses on our whole visit. We also had to pester for tea! Sandwiches were not great. Burger baps with coronation chicken, tuna and egg mayo - not fantastic. Really not busy either, nobody in the place and it lacked atmosphere. This was a shame as the cakes and scones were lovely. Really not impressed with the staff or offer considering I believed I had got a great deal on a high price afternoon tea which was mismarketed. Think in future it should not be called mad hatters tea party as reference to alice in wonderland was minimal, maybe if expectations had been lower it might have gone up in my ratings. Also not happy that staff running the Instagram reposted my photograph without my consent!

The food was stale and tasted horrible. It’s was very very tiny - not afternoon tea at all.

I had previously stated one vegetarian would be joining us, however the forgot and when informed the server indicated that as we had egg sandwiches between chicken and another meaty one it was suitable. The scones were small and hard, the cakes were tiny little bites so couldn't really enjoy. The tea was tasty and prosecco had to be requested. All in all not the best experience.

Friendly and helpful staff, prosecco topped up regularly, good selection of food. Easy to find from Blackfriars station.

Not much of a mad hatters theme, no atmosphere from staff. Tea tepid and served in chipped cups. Rolls instead of sandwiches, fillings awful and asked for alternative filling and got processed burger cheese! Scones small and rock hard. Rushed out within the hour. Very disappointed for the cost, would not recommended to anyone.

Nice venue, food & teas were good. Staff were polite on arrival & then gradually seemed to lose interest in us. We booked the bottomless proseco, but they were very slow at refilling our glasses & we had had to keep asking, which was rather annoying when that’s what you’ve booked & payed for.

Me and my friend felt everything was brought straight from the shops. Nothing felt like it was freshly baked. And the cake stand was made of cardboard and looked like it was going to fall apart. Very disappointed and felt we didn’t get our money’s worth
