From Our Editors
The Minnis Bar and Restaurant overlooks the coastal sands of Minnis Bay in Birchington, with a wall of glass that runs the entire length of the restaurant offering views of the promenade. The chefs cure, pickle, brine, salt and smoke their own produce on site. Fish is sourced directly from fishing boats in Sevenoaks, and free-range chickens, eggs, veal, lamb and pork come from a farm in Waterham. Their Kentish cheese is also brought in from local producers in Canterbury.
