We had a great day today with the kids on the Broads. A very warm welcome, along with some giggles when becoming captain of the boat. Would definitely recommend Simpson’s, you can take your own food and drink and great value too. We will be back 😊👍. Thanks for a great day

We had a great time. There were 8 of us so we had the electric boat as pictured in the ad. The lady on reception was lovely, we were given life jackets to wear. The man briefed my husband on how to drive the boat. Then we had 2 hours of peace on the river in the sunshine. There are toilets at the yard to use before boarding the boat. Would go again. x

Initially the boat yard was not signposted very well as it was difficult to know where to park the car. The instructor was very abrupt and spent yime telling us what could go wrong and that if we had to call him out it could well cost us. This boatyard is at the edge of the Broads and I was hoping we could motor to a pub on the Broads on our trip but there was really nowhere to go from there in the time frame of 2 hours. Also we found the boat difficult to steer as it didn’t want to go straight so we were constantly moving the steering wheel from side to side. In our return however a lovely member of staff helps us to moor up and help us off the boat. We shall not be going back !

The boat in the picture is not what they give you they give you a very small and very hard To steer boat I went there a few days before to see if I could redeem my voucher and the Man, I spoke to 1st of all was very rude as I was speaking. The phone rang so we walked off on the phone and never even said sorry so I rang him a few minutes later as I walked off by this time and he was still rude 24 hours in advance I had to book at least 48 hours in advance and he didn’t even want to give me that please do not waste your money. The boats are very very hard to steer and very very small. There is nothing like the boats in the picture I would never ever use his boat yard again such a shame because of just down the road there is such a lovely boat yard with such a lovely men and only £15 off because it’s only £50 for two hours in any boatyard in The Norfolk bords
