About Beeston Unity Bowling Club

Celebrating our Centenary Year in 2027!

Beeston Unity Bowling Club (BUBC) was formed in 1927 and has a wonderful proud heritage. Our home ground is at Broadgate Park in the heart of Beeston where we play during the summer months each year.

Facilities include a private walled ground with a grass square providing 12 rinks (6 at any one time as we alternate between N/S and E/W). We also have a members pavilion with home/away changing facilities, kitchen, large reception/dining area and mens/ladies toilets.

The club plays in three competitive leagues in Nottingham, Beeston and Long Eaton Bowls.

We are not a large club but do believe that we are an important part of our local community promoting and providing health and welfare benefits to both members and casual bowlers.

We welcome all new players who want to experience the sport as well as previous bowlers who wish to get back into the game. We have a qualified coach and offer training and equipment to get you started. Our friendly group are happy to offer advice, education and encouragement to all new recruits and help make it fun to learn this wonderful sport.

Through our development plan we do have ambitions to broaden our appeal to increase membership and participation in the future thus sustaining a long history of Bowls in Beeston.
