Such a unique place. The tea room is down in the basement and it truly does feel like you're Alice in wonderland. Sandwiches were delicious, sadly the scones weren't good but the chocolate brownies and strawberry cake was delicious. The antiques and memorabilia was amazing with three floors of amazing items from your childhood. Will definitely return.

Afternoon Tea in Wonderland. We loved the setting and the many things to look at or buy on the way to the basement wonderland. The food was good value & delicious. We were served by 'Alice' who was delightful.

Don't even bother! Concept is fantastic, the actual place is not. "Alice" was borderline rude. She wouldn't allow us to swap a tea or coffee for a cold drink unless we paid full price for it- on top of the £19 I'd already paid. The table wasn't big enough for 2 of the afternoon tea holders and there were plenty of larger tables available as only 5 other customers in there- but we were not allowed to move. The sandwiches were pathetic and we only got 2 different choices- cheese and lettuce or chicken and mayo. The floor is uneven and the fake grass is cheap and filthy. My daughters glass was dirty- there was quite literally bits of old food in it! The toilets are 2 floors up and disgusting. The brownies and cakes were delicious and the scones and mini toads in the hole were great, but unfortunately our experience had been ruined before the food even arrived. We were all thoroughly disappointed.
