I bought afternoon tea for 4 as a gift for family and they said it was awful. Woman serving was miserable. No fish or vegetarian sandwich options - 2 of them were given lettuce and cucumber sandwiches. A small scone and 1 piece of cake each. Nothing like the cake/sandwich platter shown on the Groupon deal. And after agreeing to pay an extra £1 each for more tea, their teapot was simply topped up with hot water - no new tea, just water, so a very weak 2nd pot. They made the best of their time at this cafe but didn't enjoy the tea or atmosphere.

Very odd place. Smelled of damp and was freezing cold. Can’t say we didn’t like it- afternoon tea was good. The cafe is in a cellar of a five story second hand shop packed to the rafters with interesting curios!

Good value for money, service very slow although we prebooked waited a good 45 mins for food to arrive but worth the wait! Very nice. Downside is 3 story treck to the toilets which on arrival was filthy. Ok but wouldn't go again.

If you are looking for something different for an afternoon tea this is the place to go. Alice in Wonderland themed with great interactive entertainment for the family. The white rabbit and Mad Hatter waiters played their parts well. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh and cake yummy. Great value deal which my children, Mum & Auntie enjoyed very much. We will return :)
