Food needs to be cooked properly & not to wait so long. The waiter was chewing gum. He didn't have the concentration when taking the order. He seemed nervous .they are very young & need the experience to do better

Oh dear where can I start.....the only good thing about our dining experience was we laughed so much as it got worse as the evening went on. Constructively...... Waiting staff can't have ever worked in the business of serving tables before, nor we're trained in the offerings of the restaurant ....as I say so so bad it got funny. Now the food... Wow! Stunningly dreadful. I had the chicken breast with potatoes and vegetables .....it came with a spectacular dry over cooked chicken and two small new potatoes that were roasted and soaked in oil, with about 20 sprigs of parsley???...no vegetables. I sent it back and explained as to why it was so awful and as my partner had nearly finished (oh...she got hers 10 minutes before mine) so I asked for the steak as it was edible ....15 mins later they brought another chicken! By then we were just in hysterics, which was good for the staff as it meant we didn't walk out! Oh did I mention both meals came with a flower on each.....why?? So, maybe we were unlucky and maybe it was a bad night, goodness knows, but omg it was absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever ever has....thank goodness for them we have a great sense of humour

the service was a bit too casual, we had to remind the waitress we were there a couple of times. They were very nice and polite though.

When we arrived we were ignored for five minutes...someone saying ' l will be with you in a mo' would have sufficed. No one else dining was a bit unfortunate, but Dail was very charming and accommodating. The haddock fishcakes had little fish in them that l could taste and lumps of hard potato...not pleasant...although the salad and dressing was nice. My companian enjoyed the creamy mushrooms. She also enjoyed the steak but mine was fatty and for me little taste. We both liked the sauce it was in thank goodness. We both enjoyed the desserts...she had ice cream l had the cheese platter. We are going back as we have another voucher and are taking two others. The vouchers are good value....but without the voucher l would not pay the full price. The building is interesting....but needs more diners to give it some ambience. Good luck Dail and staff.....think you need a bit more experience to help you through and you need to publicise it much much more if you have a hope of surviving.

We came out smelling of fried food as the open kitchen is in the same room as the seating. Maybe the menu should be re-thought for food that requires less frying? Perhaps quiche and salad or grilled foods? The food was nice though and we would return.

We arrived at 12.30pm, there was nobody there to take orders. We had to ask for drinks and someone to take our order. The organisation was poor to say the least. Until things buck up recommendations will not be forthcoming!

Starters great, main not so good. Didn't really appreciate being sat beside a pyramid scheme presentation throughout dinner - would have booked on another night if we had been warned.
