Forbury Gardens are transformed into The Reading Winter on Ice, a magical winter wonderland with an array of attractions for children and adults alike. Customers can enjoy themed rides, stalls with festive food, mulled wine and hot chocolate, ice rink, as well as Santa's Grotto experience.

It was excellent value for money. The bar cabin was nice but rest of it was a bit basic. Ice rink itself was not very good customer service, charged for cloakroom and skate aids with no notice on website the night before, cash only and when I paid for my bag I was given a piece of cardboard box with a number of it. When I reclaimed the bag and gave in my ‘token’ I was asked which black rucksack was mine, as there was another similar in the same spot. Fun was had by all so good overall but shame about the little let-downs.
