With a choice of four beachside resorts, Pontins offers breaks with adventure, parties and competitions in equal abundance. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a fun-packed family break with entertainment and activities including live comedy, vocalists, bands and tribute acts as well as the iconic Bluecoats, keeping travellers amused with game shows, cash bingo, party dances and discos. Guests are welcomed to Popular Apartments featuring a fully equipped kitchen as well as a lounge with TV and private bathroom. The Queen Vic Pub serves up traditional English pub grub, real ales and fine wines, while the restaurant caters for cooked breakfasts and a wide variety of plates in the form of an all-you-can-eat buffet. In Somerset, Brean Sands Holiday Park peers across the sands of the West Country coast to the waves of the Bristol Channel, while Camber Sands Holiday Park stretches in the east of Sussex, towards the historic town of Rye. Southport Holiday Park is set in the rugged and blustery scenery of the North West Coast, offering tourists the chance to visit Southport’s Lord Street, home to elegant shops and classic Victorian architecture. Overlooking Welsh stretches of countryside, the Prestatyn Park sits just a 30-minute drive from Conwy Castle, a medieval fortress where holidaymakers may find out more about the region’s ancient history.
I would say if your going for a few days take cleaning products as you will want to freshen the place up . Don’t expect too much it’s a very basic accommodation but saying that it’s very inexpensive you get what you pay for. We didn’t have any blinds on the patio doors so being on the ground floor it had no privacy . The grandkids loved it and the beach is minutes away . I wouldn’t go again it was a treat for the grandkids.
Very poor. Accomodation tired, cooker tripped fuse box constantly, lounge heaters knocked off after a few minutes, bathroom window handle snapped off, curtains hanging by 3 hooks, etc. Swimming pool closed for the 3 days we were there. Restaurant closed for one night, entertainment ridiculously loud, I am not sure how they can play over the decibel limit for hearing damage and get away with it...
I would advoid pontins, place is not clean, facilities outdated and have arcades do not work.
Character show where good but not much on for kids.
Swimming pool was dirty.
The place was dirty, run down and had been updated since the 70's the beds were disgusting to sleep on. The staff were rude, over worked and unhelpful. The swimming pool was so dirty you could see the dirty floating on the water. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will never go back.
Rooms/ apartments were dirty. Pretty run down looking for being "new".
We went to Prestatyn site and it was absolutely disgusting, in our room there was still filthy from previous customers, food on plates, dirty nappies on the floor and even sick in the bath
Rat and ant infestation , chalet very shabby and had to ask for four mattresses to be changed as springs actually protruding ,had to ask friday, saturday and sunday before we got two changed , we had taken our four grandchildren and got scared as drunken fighting very night till 3/4 am meaning we all got very little sleep it was horrendous from start to finish and what should have been a lovely little break for ourselves and our grandchildren turned out to be a complete disaster .
