Owned by the same family since 1739, The Talbot Hotel offers old-fashioned hospitality and AA-Rosette winning dining. Renowned cuisine by James Martin, 18th-Century elegance and a sleepy market town location combine to make this family-run establishment worthy of its four-star rating. The hotel is within driving distance of the majestic moors and dales of North Yorkshire. Four-poster beds, original fireplaces and marble bathrooms are some of the features to be found in the hotel’s suites. Meanwhile, a wide selection of wines and beers can be enjoyed beside an open fire in the bar area. The hotel’s cookery school is opened in May 2014.
