About Bowland Wild Boar Animal Park

Established in 1999, Bowland Wild Boar Park is a family-run business set in 65 acres of the Bowland forest. Walking along the riverside paths, visitors can see animals such as llamas, wallabys, red squirrels, pet lambs and, of course, wild boars. Those wishing to get up close and personal with meerkats and chicks can participate in handling and feeding sessions which takes place several times a day. Afterwards children can play in the straw barn area while adults enjoy a hot drink served at the on-site cafe.
