An Afternoon With Sam Allardyce and Malky Mackay

Part of their ‘Lunch With a Legend’ series, Gala Events present a chance to hear insights from West Ham’s Sam Allardyce and Wigan’s Malky Mackay. A veteran Premier League manager with a string of clubs and known for his opinionated take on the game, ‘Big Sam’ Allardyce started out as a player of some 20 years, before breaking through as a Manager with Bolton Wanderers in 1999. Starting as a player in his home town club of Queen’s Park in Scotland, Malky Mackay went on to appear of Norwich and Watford before making the jump to management, leading Cardiff City to the Premiership after winning the Championship in 2013. Now in charge at Wigan, the up-and-coming manager joins Allardyce for a chat with Adam Leventhal after guests have enjoyed a three-course lunch. Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks will be served throughout the event.
