The Deal
Groups can get some proof of their familial love, with a one-hour photoshoot at Gary Maynard Photography. The session is available for up to eight people, with subjects allowed two costume changes for a splash of diversity. Customers will then return a week later to choose two images to be made into three 4” x 6” prints of each image.
Groupon asks Gary Maynard a little about photography and his studio.
G: How did you come to work as a photographer?
“I received my first camera as a gift when I was a child; I took it everywhere and fell in love with taking pictures. Professionally, my career began when I stepped in for a missing photographer at a friend’s wedding. After that, I was well and truly hooked.”
G: What do you think defines a good image?
“A good image is one that tells a story, where you can see the emotional contact between subjects.”
G: What would you say is your speciality?
“My approach to subjects. I take a very friendly approach, getting my subjects to relax in front of the camera, allowing for nicer images.”
Fine Print
Purchase: Limit 1 per booking. Max 8 people per shoot. Limit 1 per visit. May buy 2 additional as gifts.
Booking: Required by phone. 48-hour cancellation policy.
Restrictions: Valid Tue-Sat 9.30am-5pm. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Deposit of £25 is required, deposit is fully refundable. Valid for a 1 hour photoshoot. Valid for 1 background change and 2 costume changes. Viewings to take place 7 days after session. Prints available for collection 21 days after viewing. All images are of the same two prints. Photographer retains copyright.
