York Ghost Bus Tour
The Ghost Bus Tour journeys into the darker side of York with a combination of humour, horror and history. Daring passengers can climb aboard a classic 1960s ex-funeral bus before it visits renowned sites including Clifford’s Tower, York Minster and Dick Turpin’s grave. After setting off from Exhibition Square, the creepy conductor will recount tales of haunted buildings and the ethereal beings that are said to reside within the city’s medieval walls. Tickets (usually £15 each) are accompanied by a guidebook (£4), and sightseers can expect some theatrics and ominous activity aboard the bus, too.
