The Deal
Wannabe horse whisperers aged four and up can take advantage of the private and group lessons on offer at Glen Jakes Riding School. Suitable for all abilities and experience levels, the lessons are taken by expert instructors and riding hats are included along with a suitably well-mannered equine mount. Private lessons offer dedicated one-on-one coaching (usually £18.75), while parties of up to eight can enjoy the shared fun of a group lesson (£18.75 per person).

The Merchant
A family-run affair, Glen Jakes Riding School is a one-stop stable for all things equine. Located just outside Stockport, the school helps people from all walks of life to enjoy a safe and satisfying horseback experience with a variety of lessons tailored to each individual's skill level. Hacks and walkouts get riders out on the trail and riding parties allow for a unique celebration. Stable management and pony keeping courses can build responsibility, social skills and confidence in a way that's fun for young ones.
