Osteopathic treatment aims to improve the harmonious functioning of the musculoskeletal system, using a variety of manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and stretching techniques. An initial appointment at Healthy Back starts with a consultation to discuss a personalised approach to treatment. A comprehensive osteopathic, orthopaedic, neurological and computerised postural assessment is then performed, followed by the first treatment. The results of this examination will be discussed during the following visit, prior to a second treatment. During the final session a third treatment will be combined with a review of clients’ needs and a discussion of their health goals.
