Laser hair removal is the process of removing body hair by destroying the hair follicle with a laser.

The Motus Ay has a Nd:YAG and Alexandre laser, the highest wavelength of all the commonly used hair removal lasers. This increased wavelength means that there is less absorption into the epidermal melanin reducing skin heating and potential skin damage.

Laser hair removal works by destroying hair follicles. The melanin (colour) in the follicles absorbs the light from the laser which, over a course of treatment, damages the follicle enough that it significantly reduces or even completely stops hair growth.

The new Motus Ay is the world’s first for laser hair removal machine to use the two gold standard lasers in the field – TRUE Alexandrite and Nd YAG. This means that all skin types (1-6) can now benefit from effective (Note: unfortunately laser hair removal does not work on grey or very light blonde hair due to the lack of pigment.)
