The Deal
During a three-hour workshop (usually £60), crafters can create a choice of designs, including owls, birds and icicles. To help the design process, attendees can use the bubble pen and silver flakes to give the ornaments a winter wonderland vibe. All materials and refreshments to fuel the creativity are included and, once designs have been fired up in the kiln, they can be collected around two weeks later or delivered for a surcharge. Participants can also dabble in further creations with a third off a coasters and panels workshop, and 10% off a jewellery taster workshop.
The Merchant
Inlight Contemporary Glass Fusion is the brainchild of glass artist Chantal Mesnard who has 15 years’ experience in producing a range of kiln-formed pieces. As well as providing a medley of hand-crafted gifts for purchase, the studio also runs workshops all year round, where crafty types can make their own jewellery, tiles and vases, amongst other home items. The central Hove studio is located a short stroll from the seafront and is open until 9pm on Thursdays.
