Pampering is the aim of the two therapists at Karma Therapy Rooms, who will give couples a relaxing one-hour full-body massage at the same time. Pairs will also receive a glass of Champagne to enjoy in the hotel lounge. Clients are also welcome to an additional 20% off any other treatment that is booked on the day.

Groupon Asks Grant Bullion, Owner of Karma Therapy Rooms, to tell us more about his work as a therapist and about the treatments available.

G: What made you want to work in the health and beauty industry?

“I suffered a brain tumour back in 2005, and surgeons advised me not to go back into the sales career I was in at the time. Someone recommended that I become a therapist, so I trained as a sports and remedial massage therapist. I took over Karma Therapy Rooms in 2010 and have been running it ever since.”

G: What’s the spa like inside?

“We’re based within a leisure club of a four-star hotel, and the facilities are very comfortable, warm and relaxing. There is a heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi.”

G: What’s your favourite treatment?

“The hot stone massage. Purely because it gives you that deep relaxation from the heat of the stones, the therapist’s techniques, the lighting and the music played in the room.”

G: If you could choose any celebrity to come and visit the spa, who would it be?
