Hotel was old and dingy, food was very average. I genuinely could’ve done a better job. Tasteless sandwiches, only one option for the scones and cheap little cakes that were drab. Customer service was okay I guess, couldn’t really say much as there wasn’t really anything for them to do. They didn’t come up to us during to ask if we needed anything but I guess maybe you just get what’s included in your deal, no extras. Wouldn’t come back again as I’ve been better places but that being said I’m sure it’s more than adequate for others and at the price point it’s decent enough.

My mum and I went to The Leonard Hotel for afternoon tea on a Monday afternoon. The tea was absolutely fantastic. Great variety and portion size, fresh and tasty and beautiful presentation. The staff were very friendly and kind and patient when taking photos for us. They treated us like 5 * guests which is a lovely experience in itself. Thank you for having us and for making our day so special.

Lovely surroundings and atmosphere with acoustic music playing over the speakers. The fruit scones were the highlight of the afternoon tea - served warm!

The hotel is quite run down. The staff hardly said a word. The room we had afternoon tea in was cold so we asked if the fire could be put on. The waiter put the heating on instead. The table next to us wasn’t cleared from breakfast. Not great to look at. The food was ok for £10 each but definitely won’t return.
