How did the restaurant get set up?
The King's Road Steakhouse and Grill is one of three restaurants that make up the London Steakhouse Company, established in 2008 by Marco Pierre White, James Ogilvie Robertson and Rachael Ogilvie Robertson. Other venues include the Sydney Street Grill, also in Chelsea, and the Marco Pierre White Steak and Alehouse in the City.
What's on the menu?
It is a traditional steakhouse, mainly serving a range of classic steak cuts such as sirloin, t-bone and rib eye, cooked to the customer's tastes. There's also a variety of timeless English dishes such as potted duck, grilled halibut and sticky toffee pudding. A vegetarian option is available on request.
Are group bookings catered for?
There's a large, semi-private table for up to ten diners, adjacent to the sunken bar which is ideal for a tailored dinner party. The mezzanine is also available for parties of up to 24. It overlooks the main room and features soft leather banquettes and hand-made mirrors. The venue is also available for exclusive hire for a stunning wedding reception or bespoke party of up to 65 people on a minimum spend basis.
