Few Words About Our Star:

Born in Leeds in 1961, Marco Pierre White was inspired by culinary arts from a young age by an example of his father who was also a chef. While not sporting any official culinary diploma, he has trained under many exceptional chefs in restaurants across the UK before finally feeling strong enough to open his own eatery, Harveys. There, he won his first and second Michelin Stars and was granted the Newcomer Award at the 1987 The Catey Awards, run by The Caterer magazine.

He has trained notable chefs such as Mario Batali, Heston Blumenthal, Shannon Bennett, Gordon Ramsay and Curtis Stone and then won his third Michelin Star at The Restaurant Marco Pierre White, before retiring from being a chef in 1999 and returning all his stars.

Not straying far from the enchanting world of the culinary world, Marco decided to pursue a career as a restauranteur. He has opened and led several enterprises before the current Marco Pierre White swept the market. It currently has eight different trademark eateries, opened in different locations across the whole country, mainly in luxury sites like Hoole Hall and The Cube.

Marco has also been a star of many TV shows, including Hell's Kitchen and has gathered numerous controversies under his belt. Even despite those, he is one of the most famous and most beloved UK chefs.
