An ancient relaxation therapy to improve well-being. This therapy helps to reduce the build-up of excess ear wax and alleviate pressure caused by headaches, colds and flu.
Dreamy Legs
Luxury leg and foot therapy with Baobab. Perfect for tired, achy legs this energising therapy uses ethically sourced baobab seed oil to nourish, repair and protect the skin.
Aromatic Back Massage
A soothing massage focused on the back, neck, and shoulder areas. It uses pre-blended essential oils to help calm the nervous system, relieve muscular tension, and promote a deep sense of relaxation.
Mineral Taster Facial
A facial perfect for a first-time spa-goer or as an add-on. It is designed to give you a taste of the benefits of mineral-based skincare to leave skin feeling refreshed and revitalized.

At Crowne Plaza Newcastle—a Green Key Award winner—you’ll find Mineral House Spa ready with personalized treatments crafted from the finest skincare lines, a private gym and a heated indoor pool; Hawthorns Restaurant then takes locally sourced ingredients and turns them into thoughtfully prepared dishes; and The Gin Bar closes the evening with a handpicked roster of small-batch gins and expertly mixed cocktails.
Spa Etiquette
- › To maintain serenity, the spa is a mobile phone, camera, and smoke-free zone.
- › Alcohol purchased from the bar is permitted, but consumption is limited for guests using the spa facilities.
- › Poolside loungers cannot be reserved for the day. Please be respectful of other guests.

ARRIVAL TIME
It is recommended that guests arrive 30 minutes before their therapy to change, relax, and complete their consultation card. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time.
TREATMENT TIME
The advertised duration includes consultation and aftercare, not just the hands-on therapy time.
WHAT TO BRING
It is recommended to bring comfortable clothing for after the spa experience. Robes, towels, and amenities such as hair dryers are provided.
