Parkfit is a good way to exercise and gain fitness. The workouts are hard but enjoyable and varied. I would recommend

To train for a race, I joined the club by buying 10 vouchers. Tony and Harry - the instructors- are really encouraging, even at 6:15 in the mornings. Needless to say, I have now joined the club on a permanent basis, feeling fitter and more energised than I have had for a long time.
