The Deal
Equestrians can learn the tenets of horse riding from an experienced tutor during two 60-minute lessons. Instructors explain how to groom horses, pick out hooves, tack up, and the basics of riding safely, with the focus placed on building each participants’ confidence atop their steed. Session are held six days a week, with riding hats provided.

The Merchant
Nestled amid the Hatfield countryside, Raybrook Farm Livery caters to all manner of equestrian pursuits on a 12- acre site. Facilities include an all-weather school, a 50ft round pen, various training courses, a jumping arena and wooded tracks. Tutors cover the basics of riding, as well as advanced techniques like hacking, jumping and cross country rides. Tuition in grooming, horse care and behavioural training is available. The centre regularly holds pony days, and offers a pony loan scheme.

Restrictions: Valid Mon-Fri 9-5pm; Sun 12pm-4pm. Must be 6 or older. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Max weight 16st. Parties of 4 cannot have 2 members over 6 foot tall. Max group size 4 people. Must fill out registration form. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Boots will not be provided. No trainers, shoes or laces permitted. Valid on option purchased only.
