Leading guests through the history of this fabled elixir, whisky tasting sessions by The Vintage House help guide first timers and experienced whisky connoisseurs through a sampling of Scotland’s finest fluid. The tasting features five samples from distinct regions of Scotland, and each one is accentuated with a food pairing, ranging from cheese to chocolate. The session will take place at the Soho Whisky Club, an elegant members’ bar in the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas. It’s the brainchild of The Vintage House, a historic fine wine and spirits retailer dating back to World War Two, which itself stocks over 1350 malts.

What kind of whiskies will be available?
“There’ll be one whisky from each of region of Scotland, starting with a light, sweet Scottish Highland, moving onto a drier Lowland and rich Speyside malt, before finishing with a pungent, peated Islay Malt.”
How should we make the most of the session?
“Just dive in, don’t be afraid to ask questions. There are really no rights or wrongs. Our sessions are for anyone that like the taste of whisky.”
Tell us more about the venue.
“We’re a purpose-built, speakeasy-inspired whisky and cigar bar. We serve over 400 different whiskies, and there’s also a secluded smoking terrace.”
