Budding music artists can put their vocal chords to the test in a state-of-the-art recording studio. Adults can unleash their inner musician in a 90-minute session which sees them record a minimum of two tracks. Guests can bring along their own instruments, their own back track, or use a backing track on file for a £1.50 supplement. Alternatively, children can get in on the musical action with a two-hour recording party, recording up to five songs (usually £100 per hour, for four children). A selection of soft drinks and snacks will be on hand throughout, and goody bags, each containing a printed CD and Soundlab stationery, can be taken home. The birthday girl or boy can also receive a printed t-shirt for an additional £7, while guests can add on instrument playing time or disco.

Choose from the following options:

• £29 for 90-minute recording session for one or two adults

• £39 for 90-minute recording session for three or four adults

• £49 for two-hour recording party for up to four children (51% off)

• £69 for two-hour recording party for up to eight children (66% off)

The Merchant

Soundlab Studios boasts three live rooms, which can be used for recordings and rehearsals. Each room is fitted with PA systems and 400 watt speakers, while the control room has all of the equipment required to capture and refine musical and voiceover recordings to the highest level. The studio also mixes and masters recordings, as well as providing guidance in song writing and performance. Musicians can also hire an array of professional instruments and other equipment if required.
