Aspiring artisans will be introduced to the art of airbrushing in cake design, during a three-hour class from Sweet as Sugar Cakes. Focus will fall on airbrush control, techniques and designs using a variety of colours and techniques. They can learn how to add shading, tone and dimension to cakes, with the class shedding light on stencilling, graduation and depth of colour. All cake drums and fondants will be supplied, while each participant will receive their own airbrush to use during the session. Students can then take home their spoils after the course to decorate cakes of their own.
