About This Deal
The Deal
A three-hour recreational slope pass (usually up to £49 each) at the SnowDome offers skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to twist and turn down a 170-metre indoor slope that's covered with real snow. A small repertoire of previously acquired snow knowledge is required, including an ability to use all lifts, perform controlled linked turns, control speed and direction, and stop confidently. Anyone with the required skills above the age of eight can get involved, with customers asked to bring along warm clothing and gloves.
Choose from the following options for a three-hour recreational slope pass:
£24.50 for one person (50% off)
£49 for two people (50% off)

Groupon Asks Isabelle Chadbourne, marketing manager at the SnowDome, how to best brave the cold and find some snow legs.
G: What sets the SnowDome apart?
"With a 170-metre-long slope, it's the perfect place to find or improve your snow legs. Our real snow all year round gives customers a genuine skiing and snowboarding experience. It's like visiting a mountain resort in the Midlands but with a roof on top."
G: What are people's reactions to the slope?
"It's always great to be with people when they visit for the first time as their reactions are always of huge surprise. My personal favourite is that people always say, 'Oh, it's so cold!' It's real snow, so yes, it sure is cold."
G: What are the benefits of becoming a skier or snowboarder?
"Firstly, you get to hang out here at the SnowDome, with a whole bunch of other people who are learning, getting better, or are advanced. Our customers are a very passionate bunch and you tend to find that when people get into the sport, they make loads of friends here and then it becomes a real social thing. Then there are the exercise benefits, and finally, there's just no better experience than going on a skiing holiday, taking on the mountains with your friends: it's amazing and everybody should try it."
G: In addition to skiing and snowboarding, what else does the facility offer?
"Non-skiers and snowboarders can enjoy fantastic views of the slope on the huge balcony, or from The Aspen Food Company, with its great windows overlooking the action on the hill. There's also a large swimming pool, ice rink, the UK's only ice track, and a children's snow play area."
