The Brasserie
Dining at the Brasserie offers a rare look behind the making of tomorrow’s culinary talents. Every plate is created and presented by students on the college’s diploma courses, bringing fresh energy and precision to the seasonal menu.
Highlights include 21‑day‑aged meats cooked on the Josper Grill and house‑smoked specialties, all served in light‑filled, art deco rooms facing Vincent Square.

What's On the Menu?
Starters:
- English asparagus, poached hens egg, Choron sauce
- Pearl barley, Toulouse sausage and mushroom risotto, mascarpone and parmesan
- Quail scotch egg, apple chutney
- Smoked salmon, carved at the table, buttered brown bread, capers and lemon
- Salad of Heritage tomatoes, feta cheese, crispy shallots, sumac dressing
Mains:
- Pan-fried salmon, spiced tomato sauce, jewelled cous cous, preserved lemon, crispy shallots
- Roast Cod, crispy potato terrine, pea and mint puree, roasted shallot, caper, parsley dressing
- Daube of beef, creamed potatoes, spring vegetables and port sauce
- Rabbit stuffed with apricot and sage, fondant potato, glazed carrots, creamed leeks, star anise
- Linguine with a puy lentil and truffle ragout, parmesan
- Spiced cauliflower, beetroot and chickpea puree, roasted hazelnuts and salsa Verde
- Rib-eye steak, roast tomato and mushroom, triple-cooked chips, herb salad and béarnaise sauce

About The Vincent Rooms
Located within Capital City College Westminster, The Vincent Rooms include The Brasserie and Escoffier Room. During term time, students are taking over the kitchen, allowing guests to see how they are progressing. The Brasserie serves up an array of rustic dishes in their bright, airy dining room. Escoffier, on the other hand, is a bit more formal and offers set tasting menus compiled by the students and staff to celebrate different cuisine styles and festive themes. Both are available to hire for lunches, dinners, award ceremonies and conferences.
