The Event

From walking past the drawing offices where the ship was designed to seeing the slipway where she was launched, enthusiasts can visit the area where the legendary Titanic was born. Titanic’s Dock and Pumphouse offers a tour of the world’s only authentic Titanic landmark which begins by taking participants through the Titanic quarter’s 185-acre waterfront development. Little has changed at the dock and original pump house, the site where the famous liner stood, a century ago, before setting sail on her fateful voyage. Participants will descend 44 feet into the original dry dock where they will be able to touch the tools used by the dock’s shipbuilders. The tour also includes the opportunity to view HMS Caroline, an original vessel from 1914 that still stands despite seeing combat during World War One. Groups can turn up between 10.30am and 4pm any day of the week.
