After a brief consultation and an x-ray have checked the condition and alignment of teeth, the practitioner performs a scale and polish designed to improve their appearance and hygiene. Clients can opt to upgrade the polish to an airflow treatment, which uses compressed air and powder particles to scrub at plaque and stains.
