Guests are welcomed to a two-hour experience to investigate the centre’s diverse array of hawks, falcons and eagles after a guided tour of the centre. Guests are offered a hot drink while the expert falconers prepare the birds for the flying demonstration. After getting up close and personal with the birds, visitors can ask the team any aviary questions, leaving plenty of time to absorb the surroundings and take plenty of snaps.
Located in 16th-Century Holdenby House, Icarus Falconry has flocked its extensive collection of birds of prey into this unique example of Tudor architecture, and the very site that King James II kept his own falcons. The centre hosts birds of prey experiences, demonstrations and displays, allowing guests to stick their talons into this historic pastime. As well as tours and flying presentations, the centre plays host to exclusive hunting days and wild photography workshops.
