From Our Editors

Royal Engineers Museum invites adults and children to see a variety of exhibitions that are designed to tell the story of the Corps of Royal Engineers and British military engineering. Visitors can see the Waterloo Map, a piece of the Berlin Wall and a Harrier Jump Jet, among many other attractions on display. The grounds of the museum boast vehicles such as tanks, along with a play area for kids. There is also a cafe serving up snacks, light refreshments and hot drinks, as well as a gift shop where customers can purchase postcards, souvenirs and regimental items.

Don’t waste your time. Took my children but within 45 minutes we had walked round. The dress up stops were probably the most enjoyable part. The cafe had no food or drinks let other than hot drinks. It was a completely disappointing visit! Won’t waste my money and go back!

Fantastic day out that all 4 of my boys really enjoyed (age 8,7,3 and 1). They loved dressing up in the army uniforms and looking at all the tanks and vehicles. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the site was well looked after. Would definitely recommend a visit

A very interesting and thought provoking experience. Amazing history and genuine heroic exploits from the RE over the centuries.

Very interesting visit. So much to see and take in. Displays could be improved and signage could be clearer. One could get 'lost' in the winding displays. The café supplied only limited items. Very quiet when we went, ideal for me.

We really enjoyed our time here , had been planning to go for so long, having the Groupon offer made us finally get around to it. My son's enjoyed the interactive bits. Cafe is really nice too.
