Everything there was perfect. Apart from the dropping of my chips (before they apologized and gave me new ones), everything there was PERFECT. When I arrived, the 1st waitress seemed a tad distant and maybe a little cold/non responsive BUT the waiter was sooo lovely and the manager Guliano was PERFECT. Me and my friend had an amazing experience and we would certainly be coming back! The food was terrific, service was all around good and it was a great experience. They also were soooo nice in swapping my friends burger for a vegetarian risotto which was also STAR quality of them! Great place! :D

It was like eating in a conference centre or staff canteen - really open, cold, no atmosphere. Portions were also tiny!!

1) Don't venture into the hotel dining market until you have waiting staff able to carry it off. As breakfast waitresses they are fine, but when I am fine dining and ask for some water "Sure: no problem" is not what I want to hear. 2) And when I ask for the Prosecco to be served with the main course, I expect that to be remembered, and not to have to wait 8 or nine minute for the wine to get delivered. 3) the starvation rations served were an embarrassment. I went home and had a sandwich. 4) If these mini-portions were specially planned for Groupon customers, shame on you. 5) The leek and potato soup was greasy (too much butter in the leeks) and way salty (heavy-handedness I suppose.) (I make a very fine leek and potato soup myself: does that make my criticism fair or unfair? Mmmm.) It was left uneaten, and no mention was made on the bill, and no replacement course was suggested. 6) When the first course was (finally) cleared, the mains arrived suspiciously quickly, and sure enough my salmon was tepid in the middle. 7) Of the 17 diners, 10 had hamburgers. They looked like they had been there for a couple of days and discovered the only filling offer was the burger, which came with chips. 8) The food was delicious, and well presented (i.e. well planned) but the chef in charge had not the panache and skill to carry it off, and the waitresses need a restaurant manager to train them for three months. 9) As a marketing man, I wasn't clear what message the starvation rations were sending. This was high margin food, so was the project just a ploy to get in some revenue? Because if it was planned to make a friend, a repeat customer, it failed miserably.

I would like to thank to waitress the Lithuanian girl (I believe Indre is the name) for an amazing experience. Not to mention that the environment, the place itself is very cosy, the food was super delicious! The meal sizes were not very big, which I really liked it, because in most places having a three-course dinner you are about to explode how full you are. And at Wesley it was just perfect delicious, healthy size meals. And yes, the waitress which was super nice, discreet, not over the top. Giving us time to choose and letting us enjoy our time. (e.g. in some places servers stand almost next to your table trying to be helpful, fast but it's actually annoying as you feeling almost being rushed). I will definitely come back. Servers like she was adds a massive value to general experience. Thank you

Burger wasn't cooked to liking, was a bit cold. For a cheap offer can't complain but was pretty average and wasn't a Great British Menu standard as advertised
