About Hawkstone Historic Park and Follies
An array of sweeping natural sights can be soaked in by guests at Hawkstone Park and Follies. Young and old can take in architecture such as the 18th-century urn, the Swiss Bridge that crosses a deep gulf, and the 100-foot monument, allowing for unimpeded views over the grounds. Geological treats abound, including the Grotto, which features a network of underground caves, passageways and chambers, and Reynard's Walk, featuring sandstone faces and sand dunes. Adventurers can spot plenty of plants and animals as they stroll around, ranging from the predatory kestrel, Canada geese and stoats, to yews, bluebells, and rhododendrons at a specially formed garden. They can take their pick from four trails ranging from one to three hours long, and are free to bring along dogs on a lead. Legs can be rested at the on-site cafe, and the park allows for easy access with free parking.
