I bought this for my parents who were on a wedding anniversary trip to York. Thought it sounded really cool and something different. Unfortunately from their experience the tea was not great and they thought the venue wasn't really set up to do afternoon tea. They tried to phone before they left London to book and also phoned whilst they were in York. No one bothered to answer the phone. They then went to the the venue twice Sunday and Monday to book and saw a sign saying that the venue was closed for a private function. Although they eventually got booked in the Afternoon tea was not great and my mum had the feeling that the cakes had been left over from Saturday's wedding. I believe that the owner has responded to previous complaints by saying that Groupon purchasers expect too much, but I would argue if you are not really set up for event you are offering don't do it!
