Ok for the price but if I had paid full price I would have been very disappointed. The egg and the cheese sandwiches were nice but the ham was awful, grisly and with some kind of sweet red sauce which didn't go at all. Scones were nice as were the brownies and choc tarts but very small. The bird of prey centre on the other hand was excellent. Will go there again and have coffee and cakes there instead. They looked lovely. The owners are absolutely passionate about their birds and are happy to share their knowledge.

Absolutely worth the money. I have been several times for afternoon tea and this time we decided to take the family for Sunday lunch before viewing the birds. Definitely a 5* family day out.

Sorry to say the food was dreadful, but the added entrance to York Bird of Prey Centre was great!! Only spent an hour or so there but it was interesting. Did get asked for additional donation though. Food 0 stars Birds of Prey 3 stars
