The Experience

• The tour starts in the cinema featuring ‘The Vineyard Through the Seasons’.
• Learn about the geology and history of the estate and experience the changes in the vineyard through the seasons and appreciate the wine-making process from vine to bottle
• Guests are served a glass of sparkling wine whilst watching the film.
• ‘Wine Tasting’ once the film is completed guests are guided through three of Denbies classic wines with one of our Wine Experts

• History: Denbies wine estate was established in 1986 by Adrian and Gillian White. The estate is situated on the historic Denbies Farm, which has a rich agricultural heritage dating back to the Roman times

• Vineyards: Denbies boasts around 265 acres of vineyards, making it the largest single-estate vineyard in the UK. The vineyards benefit from the region's favorable climate, soil conditions, and south-facing slopes, which are ideal for grape cultivation

• Grape: The estate cultivates a variety of grapes, including traditional Champagne grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. They also grow other popular grape varieties like Bacchus, Ortega, and Seyval Blanc

• Wine production: Denbies Wine Estate produces a diverse range of wines, including still wines, sparkling wines, and dessert wines. Their offerings include red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines, each reflecting the unique characteristics of the Surrey terroir

• Winery facilities: Denbies has state-of-the-art winemaking facilities, including a modern winery equipped with stainless steel tanks, oak barrels for aging, and specialized equipment for the production of sparkling wines using the traditional method
