Private party weekend We stayed at this hotel as part of an organised trip last weekend. Check in was great friendly lady on there,we had a sea view room 108 tht was lovely and big with a lovely bathroom and great shower. We also loved the blue back light in the room. Food was lovely breakfast was self service which was great you could have what you wanted eve meal was also lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay

A nice quiet location The hotel is on the front and about a half-hour walk downhill to the centre, but a long way back. It has a fair-sized carpark although a little tight. My single room was quite small, with no view except for the low roof of next door, so don't expect much. But the food was very good with a nice selection, and the staff were very obliging. A nice bar and hall for dancing.

Exceptional staff and service Had a great stay with my friend, good food, free indoor swimming pool, the staff was very helpfull and quick, a special thanks to Agra the night guy ,he made sure out floor is quiet as some residents had too much to drink 100% recommend , we will come back

Another brilliant weekend Had our annual 'do' at the Suncliff in January. Once again a wonderful weekend with the hotel playing a great part in the organisation and making life easier for me. Dale, the manager, aided by his team, made sure everything ran smoothly. All of his staff were friendly and helpful. Big shout out to the chef who kept my guests full & satisfied. Inacio, the restaurant manager, and his staff, made sure the service was excellent. My thanks also go to reception, bar staff and housekeeping who Iooked after all of us admirably. We've used this hotel annually since 2007 and will continue to do so with the support of our guests. Over the years we've seen many improvements, including some room refurbishments and restaurant refit. This work is ongoing. Any group looking for a venue for any similar event - I recommend this hotel. Looking forward to returning next year.

Better than last year in a "4 star" hotel. We went to The Suncliff for Christmas and "Twixmas" combined i.e. a total of a week. We had a "Superior sea view with a balcony" and I would recommend paying for this type of room. The room was enormous and the view really impressive. The quality of food and the service in the restaurant could not be faulted (apart from on one evening when the Restaurant Manager and Jessy were not working and their influence on the quality of service was very noticeable). This was our second Christmas spent in Bournemouth having been in a "suite" in a 4 star hotel last year and we felt that the location of the hotel, the room, the food (especially the Christmas lunch) and the restaurant service were all superior this time.
