The Event
The opening day of the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games will begin a three-day contest between some of the world’s greatest athletic talent. The IAAF Diamond League meeting will feature men’s and women’s events such as 100m sprinting, discus, high jump, pole vault and 5000m. The Friday programme features a line up of top sprinters, with Britain’s European 100m champion James Dasaolu, world 60m champion Richard Kilty and former world champion Kim Collins all scheduled to take part.
