The Deal
Londoners looking to dine in style can head over to Hotel Verta to enjoy a two-course meal at the hotel's bistro bar and restaurant. Guests can choose a starter from the traditionally English and modern European menu, with the likes of chicken liver parfait (usually £8.50), Scottish smoked salmon (£7.50) and deep fried goats cheese (£7) available to whet appetites. Once these have been devoured, diners can choose from main dishes such as daube of beef slow cooked in red wine with mash (£15), seared sea bream fillet (£15) and crayfish linguini (£13.50).
The Merchant
Located south of the River Thames in Battersea, Hotel Verta boasts cityscape views over the river. The hotel's ethos is to bring some old world glamour to a decidedly contemporary setting, giving guests a modern, artisan feel with hints of the past. Visitors can make the most of a number of facilities, including a spa, conference rooms, cocktail bar, Chinese restaurant and bistro-style restaurant.
