What to Expect

• What's included:

  • 40 minutes Flying Experience.

• Discover a whole new level of flying as you glide through the sky, absorbing the breathtaking vistas of the Chiltern Hills and the picturesque countryside that stretches beyond. You have the option to relax and relish the journey or, when weather and flying conditions permit, your instructor might allow you to assume control for a portion of the flight before resuming command to guide you back to the airfield for a smooth landing.

• You'll be accompanied by one of the skilled instructors who will provide insights about the aircraft and the training program, offering you the chance to assume control.

• Once you've successfully completed your training and obtained your license, the fleet of aircraft becomes available for rent. This allows you to begin accumulating valuable flying hours, explore new destinations, and visit numerous airfields that are conveniently reachable from Wycombe Air Park.

Progress Flying School Overview

• Progress Flying School provides comprehensive training for obtaining the Microlight National Private Pilot License. The courses are conducted using the C42 aircraft and are led by certified Instructors approved by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

• They offer Ground School training to equip you for the necessary exams required during the course. All aspects of the training, including the final flight test, are overseen by in-house CAA-approved Examiners.

• All vouchers can be used to fly in any of the aircraft.

• Departure point: Wycombe Air Park, Marlow SL7 3DP.

• Minimum age is 14. 

• Microlight aircraft are weight-limited, so they have an upper limit of 95kg. 

• Your experience will last about 40 minutes.
