What are lingual fixed braces?
These braces are fixed to the back of teeth rather than the front, yet work in the same way as their traditional counterpart. They are tightened every few weeks to gently ease teeth into a new, neater position.
What happens at sessions?
At the initial instalment, an impression is taken of teeth before a single arch set of braces is positioned and bonded. Follow-up appointments then only last a few minutes each, with small adjustments being made each time.
The dentist will also give teeth a thorough scale and polish using Airflow stain removal, designed to give teeth a more even colour. One removable retainer will also be included for once the brace is removed.
Equidistant between Bond Street and Oxford Circus tube stations, W1 Dental presides over a number of general and cosmetic dentistry treatments, such as orthodontics and hygiene appointments. Patients with any niggling concerns can also benefit from a series of comprehensive solutions and possible treatments on their website.
