Knightly's Funfair

Sandbank Road, Towyn, Conwy LL22 9LD Directions

From Our Editors

Knightly's Funfair has been bringing the fun of the fair to the people of Towyn for over four decades. The rides include more extreme for the thrill seekers and some calmer ones for younger visitors and those faint of heart, as well as classics such as the dodgems and waltzers. After lunch at the on-site restaurant, the guests can slow down a little bit with various games in the arcade. The venue hosts live shows, events and bingo, and adults can relax in the bar area.

For what we paid via Groupon this was a great deal, kids enjoyed it, staff friendly and enough to keep them occupied for half a day or so.

The place looks in need of a spruce up but the kids (age 4 and 7) enjoyed themselves. Some of the ride attendants looked a bit disinterested and I noticed it was the same girl who came to attend to us whilst the other was busy flirting with one of the other male attendants! However, this didn’t hinder the enjoyment of the couple of hours we spent there. Probably wouldn’t go again but it is definitely worth visiting once.

Terrible, health an safety well out the window here. When you see a safety barrier that comes down over the kids held on with a zip tie it's not good. 4 year old was bored on almost all rides bar 2.
