Little Pilates Studio provides classes for both beginners and those more practiced in Pilates techniques. The studio offers a wide range of classes using reformer equipment as well as mat based classes. Once used to using reformer equipment, members can move on to the more energetic reformer cardio classes using a reformer jumpboard. With a maximum of 4 people per reformer class and 10 per matwork class, booking in advance is essential. All members must complete the Introduction to Pilates classes before being able to move on to the general beginners or intermediate matwork classes. These classes use small Pilates equipment such as bands, weights and toning circles. Little Pilates Studio also provides adult barre fit, yoga and Zumba classes. Barre fit uses a barre, combining ballet, fitness, jazz and Pilates to enable participants to get a workout usually enjoyed by dancers. Zumba is the popular, energetic Latin dance based workout. Children can join the ballet classes from the age of 2. The studio also organises workshops, concentrating on specific areas of the body such as the feet, or particular problems such as headaches, neck and shoulder tension. In addition to group classes, one to one sessions with an instructor can be booked. Also on offer is an antenatal Pilates class specifically designed for women who are 16 weeks pregnant and over as the regular classes are not suitable for pregnant women.
